North Bay Shore Park

I took advantage of my New Year holiday day off to go take some photos. I wanted to go to a place I had not yet photographed and realized I have never taken photos in Oconto County - which is a shame because they have a lot of shoreland along the Bay of Green Bay as well as some state parks and wildlife areas.

My first stop was to North Bay Shore Park. I saw on Google Maps that there was a walkway along the channel entrance that would allow me some great photo opportunities. What I underestimated is how windy it would be – and with single digit temperatures, left me with some frozen fingers. It was worth it though. I was able to get some great shots, especially of the ice shoves that were really making noise. I am going to have to stop back out during summer.
